Rehabilitation Consultant
Dr. Elaine Mora, PhD, CRC, LCPC (MT), LPC (TX), NCC
Dr. Elaine Mora is the founder of Mora Rehabilitation Consultants LLC. She holds a PhD in Rehabilitation Counseling from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Board Certified Counselor (NCC), and Licensed Professional Counselor in both Texas and Montana. Dr. Mora’s background in forensic and vocational consulting is grounded in years of clinical experience working with individuals with disabilities, mental health challenges, and substance use issues. This clinical foundation informs her approach to case analysis, combining rehabilitation counseling expertise with objective, evidence-based evaluation methods.
Dr. Mora stays actively engaged in research and professional presentations related to disability issues, adjustment to disability, trauma-informed care, and life care planning. She is a member of the American Board of Vocational Experts (ABVE), the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP), the American Counseling Association (ACA), and several other professional rehabilitation organizations.
Speaking & Training
Dr. Mora provides speaking engagements, professional trainings, and continuing education workshops for legal professionals, healthcare providers, universities, and community organizations. Presentations draw on clinical and forensic experience to deliver practical insight on disability and vocational rehabilitation, forensic assessment and expert testimony, life care planning, traumatic brain injury and polytrauma, and ethics in forensic and clinical practice.
